Anse Source d’Argent (Silver Spring Beach)

On the island of La Digue in the Seychelles, Anse Source d'Argent is a world class beach renowned for its fascinating beauty. What makes it one of the best beaches in the Seychelles? The huge blocks of time-polished granite that frame the beach, washed by the warm, translucent waters of the Indian Ocean. On Anse Source d'Argent, experience the pleasure of walking barefoot in the sand between the boulders when the tide is low and then watching the waves violently crash over them at high tide. Anse Source d'Argent is part of the Union Estate, an ancient colonial plantation that's now home to a nature reserve full of giant tortoises and an aromatic vanilla plantation.

Anse Marron

Despite its diminutive size (just 328ft long), the beach of Anse Marron is one of the best beaches in the Seychelles archipelago. Located on the south side of La Digue island, you have to walk for over a mile to get to this beach, making it unsuitable for families. Once you get here, relax in a paradise of granite rocks and white sand.

Anse Cocos

Anse Cocos, located on the east side of La Digue, and just a few steps from Petite Anse, is a dreamy white sandy beach and definitely one of the best beaches in the Seychelles. The sea is usually very calm here. Locals recommend bathing in the natural pools between the rocks. You will have to walk 45 minutes to get to Anse Cocos but there are plenty of trees to rest in the shade.
